Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information from that provider (name and email). We never see or store your Google password.

Content you create. Journal entries and saved questions from your game sessions are stored so you can view them later. This content is only visible to you.

Daily Spark subscriptions. If you sign up for Daily Spark, we store the email address you provide and which prompts you've selected, so we can send the next one.

Usage and device data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps) to keep the site secure and understand how it's used.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. See Advertising & cookies below for third-party cookies.

• To operate core features: game sessions, journal, Daily Spark emails.
• To respond when you contact us for support.
• To detect abuse and keep the service reliable and secure.
• To understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information.

Love Daring may display ads served by third parties, including Google. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance. This data is handled by the ad provider, not by us directly.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings or optout.aboutads.info. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

We use a small number of service providers to run Love Daring, and they process data on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality commitments:

• A database and authentication provider that stores account and app data.
• An email delivery provider that sends account and Daily Spark emails.
• Hosting and analytics infrastructure that keeps the site running.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Love Daring or our users.

We keep account and journal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or security purposes.

• Access, correct, or delete your account information at any time from your account settings.
• Unsubscribe from Daily Spark or any marketing email using the link in that email.
• Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us.

If you're in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Love Daring is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure providers) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
